Frequently Asked Questions
Which is the best package? We encourage you to purchase the VIP Festival Pass, which includes all the events — and an exclusive VIP-only event celebration on Sunday — over the three days. You can also purchase VIP passes for individual events (if available), as well as General Admission passes.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? ID: You must provide a Florida driver’s license with a Monroe County address to qualify for the locals discount. Sunday is 18-and over; and Friday night VIP reception is 18-and-over. There are no age restrictions for other events; and admission for children under 12 is free.
How does the locals discount work? Local residents — with a valid Monroe County, FL, driver’s license — who purchase passes at the door or at one of our participating partners will receive the discount at purchase. Locals who purchase passes online will receive their discount refund when they check-in at their first event.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Parking is available for the Truman Waterfront Park events on Saturday, April 28. Parking in Key West is always challenging, especially for events in Old Town. We encourage participants to walk, bike or take public transportation whenever possible, and to be mindful of the residential-permit-only on-street parking. No transportation is provided to and from the events.
What are the options for travel to and from Key West? The most convenient option for air travel is to arrive at Key West International Airport. Alternatively, you may arrive at Miami International Airport (or surrounding airports) and enjoy a spectacular drive down the historic Overseas Highway, over its 42 bridges, breathing in the colorful views of the fabulous Florida Keys. Keys Shuttle, car rentals, taxi services and ride share services are available from Miami International and surrounding airports. Once on the island, bikes, scooters and golf carts are available to rent. The island is small and easy to navigate. Vehicle parking is limited.
What accommodations options are available in Key West? Key West has an incredible selection of hotels, guesthouses, vacation homes, and private residences that offer everything from luxury accommodations to options for traveling on a budget. To save time and money, we will be happy to arrange a travel package for you. Please visit our travel packages page for more details.
What can I bring into the events? To reduce our carbon footprint, we discourage bringing plastic or disposable water bottles to any of the events. Please bring reusable water bottles. No straws; we work to protect our fragile environment in the Keys. The VIP Package includes a reusable water bottle, and you can purchase reusable bottles at the events. Our Presenting Sponsor, WaterGen USA, will provide water to refill your bottles at Saturday’s Main Event, and refillable water options will be available at all events. Bring your yoga mat, but please leave the chairs at home. Yoga mats will also be available for purchase. Bring sunscreen and a hat. Wear comfortable clothing and a smile! Backpacks are OK, but keep them small. And, remember, you’re in charge of your belongings. There are no lockers.
Are there bathroom facilities? Yes, bathrooms are available at all events, plus additional portable units, as needed.
What’s the refund policy? Passes are transferable. We will refund 100 percent of your ticket price, minus service fees, if you cancel less than seven days prior to April 27. No refunds otherwise.
